The summer months were always seen as prime campaigning seasons so why should wargaming be any different?
Look upon it as a European Napoleonic version of Risk.......
Set out below is a copy of the pre-campaign map, initial dispositions are based around Europe in 1793 with a couple of assumptions around territories and minor alliances.

Britian - Mark L
France - Paul
Turkey - Stuart
Russia - Dane
Austria - Chris
Prussia - Dean
Sweden - Mark G
Spain - Mark A
You will note the majority of what is modern day Germany and Italy are unallocated, these are available for conquest.
Each territory must contain one SP point the rest are the players to allocate across your territories. e.g. Britian has 20 additional points to allocate. The maximum move for each SP is one territory.
For a couple of weeks I have been working on tweaking the Campaign Book Warfare in the Age of Reason to a Napoloeonic era campaign, as discussed my hope is that it can serve as a background to a number of Sharp Practice games, or an encouragement to get stuff painted, although for some players it may be no more than a game of map movements.
In any event it should give club members something to think about over the summer holidays.

Before we kick off proper all players have a number of army points or strength points to spend.
Each SP point represents 1 8-10man unit on table but I will address that once an engagement takes place.
SP's are used to defend territories or to advance into new territories
